The RTA's December quarter median rents show that rental prices are stable in Queensland.
RTA Policy and Education Services Manager, David Breen, said after years of rent increases above inflation, median rents across Queensland have stabilised over the past 12 months.
"Over the past year in Queensland, median weekly rents for two bedroom units and three bedroom houses have remained stable at $300 and $330 respectively," he said.
In Brisbane, median rents for two bedroom units increased 1.4% ($5) to $355 a week with three bedroom houses rising by 2.8% ($10) to $370.
